SOLENCEHEALTHLooked after, all the way

Solence Select

When the patient wants a particular surgeon, we bring the surgeon.

Most cases are placed with consultants already practising in Cyprus, and treated superbly. Solence Select is the tier above: an internationally recognised specialist — from Israel, elsewhere in the EU, or the United States — travels to Cyprus and operates on your patient in an accredited private hospital here.

The surgeon travels
Your patient does not fly to New York or Tel Aviv. The specialist comes to them.
EU throughout
An accredited private hospital inside the EU regulatory framework, with recourse that does not end at the airport.
One price
All-inclusive and fixed before travel, with the surgeon's own travel and time inside the figure.

Why it exists

Two patients your standard proposal cannot reach.

The patient who will only travel for a name. They have researched their condition for months, they have a surgeon in mind, and no amount of reassurance about a good local consultant will move them. Today you either lose that case or send it somewhere far more expensive.

The patient whose surgeon cannot operate on them at home. Capacity, restrictions or circumstances at home put the specialist they want out of reach. Cyprus is two to four hours away, inside the EU, and politically stable — which makes it a practical place for both of them to meet.

Select answers both without asking your patient to cross an ocean, leave the EU regulatory framework, or accept a price that arrives in pieces.

What changes, and what does not

Changes: the surgeon, the lead time — scheduling follows the visiting specialist's calendar — and the price.

Does not change: the hospital and its accreditation, the EU regulatory framework, the named Patient Manager, the rehabilitation programme, the aftercare, the written proposal issued before your patient commits, and the way your partnership fee is calculated and settled.

How it works

Five steps, and you are only involved in two of them.

  1. You send the case and ask for both tiers

Name the surgeon your patient has in mind, or simply tell us what they are looking for and let us propose the specialist.

  2. We confirm availability in writing

Before anything is presented to your patient we confirm the named specialist, their availability window and the hospital. If we cannot secure them, we say so rather than substituting quietly.

  3. You receive two proposals

Standard and Select, side by side, each all-inclusive, each fixed before travel, each with the surgeon and facility named. Your patient chooses; you hold both answers.

  1. The dates follow the specialist

Scheduling works around the visiting surgeon's calendar. It is the one part of the programme we cannot compress, which is why we ask you not to promise a date before we have confirmed one.

  2. The Cyprus programme runs as normal

Transfers, hospital, hotel, rehabilitation, the companion, aftercare and the follow-up calls — all handled by the same named Patient Manager, exactly as on a standard case.

The quotation

What a Select price includes.

  • The named surgeon, agreed with your patient in advance — not "a specialist of that calibre"
  • Their full dossier: qualifications, registration, subspecialty practice and annual case volumes, issued to you before anything is confirmed
  • The specialist's travel and time, inside the single quoted figure — no professional fee appearing separately later
  • The hospital in full: theatre, implant or device, inpatient stay, medication and all clinical fees
  • The complete Cyprus programme: transfers, accommodation for patient and companion, rehabilitation and aftercare
  • The Patient Manager, from first enquiry to the follow-up calls after your patient is home

What it does not include

  • Flights and travel insurance for your patient and their companion
  • Optional excursions and meals outside the arranged programme
  • Any additional treatment judged clinically necessary during the stay, which is always agreed with you and the patient in writing beforehand

An option, not a replacement

Most cases do not need Select, and we will tell you when yours does not. Quoting it on a case where it adds nothing costs your patient money and costs us your trust.

Where the specialists come from

Three surgical traditions, one operating theatre.

Solence works with recognised specialists from Israel, from across the European Union, and from the United States. Which one suits a case depends on the procedure and on what your patient values — and we will give you a straight opinion rather than the name that is easiest to book.

Israel

A short flight away, with surgical depth in orthopaedics, spine and reconstructive work. Cyprus gives their international patients a straightforward, EU-based place to be treated.

The European Union

Consultants practising under the same regulatory framework as the hospital they operate in here — the cleanest arrangement of the three, and often the fastest to schedule.

The United States

For patients who want an American name without American pricing or an American hospital admission. Lead times are the longest of the three; ask early.

Questions partners ask

Before you quote Select

How much more does Solence Select cost?

It is quoted case by case, because it depends on the specialist, the procedure and the theatre time required. You receive the Select figure alongside the standard figure in writing, both all-inclusive and both fixed before travel, so your patient compares two complete numbers rather than a price plus extras.

How long does it take to arrange?

Longer than a standard case, because scheduling follows the visiting specialist's calendar rather than ours. We confirm the surgeon's availability in writing before you present anything to your patient — so please ask us before you promise a date.

Which procedures can be placed at this tier?

It is most often used in orthopaedics and in the more complex aesthetic and reconstructive work. Ask about any case: we will tell you honestly whether a visiting specialist adds something real, or whether the case is better placed with a consultant already practising here.

Who is accountable if there is a complication?

The same people as on a standard case. The hospital, the aftercare pathway and the Patient Manager do not change, and the written complication policy issued to partners applies identically.

Can the patient speak to the surgeon before committing?

Yes. The no-cost consultation happens with the surgeon who would actually operate, before any money is committed — as it does on a standard case.

Does the partnership fee work differently?

No. It is agreed in writing, applied per completed case and settled monthly with a per-case statement, exactly as on a standard case.

Send the case. Ask for both tiers.

You will have a written answer within four working hours, and two priced proposals once your patient has had their consultation.
