Specialties
Three specialties, done properly.
We would rather be the best partner in Cyprus for a few things than a directory for everything. Orthopaedics is where we started, with dermatology and aesthetics alongside it. Further specialties are added only once capacity, pricing and aftercare are contracted.
Orthopaedics
Joint replacement, with the recovery included.
Hip and knee replacement is our lead programme: a complete fifteen-day pathway covering surgery, hospital stay, accommodation, transfers and a full rehabilitation course, at one all-inclusive price fixed before travel.
The difference is what happens after the operation. Most medical travel flies a patient home three or four days after a joint replacement to rehabilitate alone. Our patients stay, rehabilitate in the same building where they were operated on, and fly home walking.
Implants come from the manufacturers used by high-end UK private hospitals — never a lower-cost equivalent — and the system used is named in the written proposal.
Also placed in orthopaedics
- Hip and knee replacement, including anterior-approach hip surgery where the surgeon considers it suitable
- Arthroscopic and sports-injury surgery of the knee and shoulder
- Foot, ankle and hand procedures
- Spinal consultations and selected spinal surgery
- Second opinions on cases already quoted elsewhere
Programme detail, inclusions and the rate card are issued to registered partners.
Aesthetics
Including the post-weight-loss patient
Surgical and non-surgical aesthetics, from injectables and skin resurfacing to face, breast and body procedures.
The fastest-growing demand we see is body contouring after substantial weight loss, including patients who have come off GLP-1 medication and are left with loose skin their home system will not treat. It is a large, self-paying, under-served group — and a case type a fixed all-inclusive price suits exactly.
Dermatology
Skin, assessed and treated in one trip
Medical and surgical dermatology for patients who cannot get a timely appointment at home: lesion assessment and excision, mole mapping and skin-cancer pathways, chronic skin conditions, and laser and light-based treatment.
Dermatology travels well because it resolves quickly — assessment, treatment and histology inside a short stay, with results and a written plan sent on afterwards.
Solence Select
When the patient wants a particular surgeon, we bring the surgeon.
Standard Solence cases are placed with consultants practising in Cyprus. Solence Select is the tier above it: an internationally recognised specialist — from Israel, elsewhere in the EU, or the United States — travels to Cyprus and operates on your patient in an accredited private hospital here.
Why patients take it
Some patients will not travel for a good local surgeon. They will travel for a name — and others come from markets where the surgeon they want cannot operate on them at home. Select answers both without asking them to fly to New York or Tel Aviv, or to leave the EU regulatory framework.
What changes
Three things: the surgeon, the lead time — scheduling follows the visiting specialist's calendar rather than ours — and the price. Everything else is identical to a standard case, including the fixed all-inclusive quotation.
What does not change
EU hospital, EU regulatory framework, the same named Patient Manager, the same rehabilitation programme, and the same written proposal issued before your patient commits to anything.
Included in a Select quotation
- The named surgeon, agreed with your patient in advance — not "a specialist of that calibre"
- Their full dossier: qualifications, registration, subspecialty practice and case volumes, issued to you before anything is confirmed
- The surgeon's own travel and time, inside the single quoted figure — no separate professional fee appearing later
- The full Cyprus programme: hospital, hotel, transfers, rehabilitation, aftercare and the Patient Manager
How to quote it
Send the case as normal and ask for both tiers. You receive two priced proposals — standard and Select — and let your patient choose. Availability and lead time vary by procedure and by specialist, so ask before you promise a date.
Select is an option, not a replacement. Most cases are placed and treated superbly without it.
A note on what we publish
Prices and providers are shared with partners, not with the open web.
Rate cards, facility names, consultant dossiers and programme detail go to registered partners, not onto a public page. It protects your commercial position as much as ours — and it means the figures your patient sees come from you, in your own proposal.
